Day 49 - Monday 26th October - heading East from Mull - Findhorn

The wind changed in the night, from SW to N, so we were again broadside on with MH rocking in the gusts. Not a great night's sleep.

We decided to leave Mull and head east in search of gentler weather, so brought our ferry booking forward and made the crossing to Oban. From there it was a long drive to Fort William, where we got a parking ticket whilst in the supermarket - bah! Then through the Great Glen, around Inverness and along the coast to Findhorn. We had booked ahead to the camp site attached to the Findhorn Community, where we arrived in the dark and tucked in for the evening.

Duart Castle seen from the ferry.
