This is an Italian motorhome driver emptying the contents of his toilet cassette into the grey water (shower and washing up water) drain at the Sosta in pre Saint Didier. The black waste - sewage - facility was not working and was taped off. Andy had a pointless row with him as he drove away which involved some internationally understood hand gestures and some shouting in languages which neither recipient understood!
We drove south to Torino, which all went smoothly, except for the surprise cost of the toll for the tunnels down from pre Saint Didier. We guess the toll is set to recoup the cost of building the road, which must have been high as it was almost all tunnel for a long way.
We arrived at Camping Grinto in Torino, on the SE of the city. We had a local walk to Aldi for supplies and then headed for bed - very tired.
This ex-scooter was on the footpath near the camp site at Camping Grinto. The camp site itself is great but the locale looks a bit dodgy. The bathroom faciliites are few and far between so we were pleased we had decided to rent a private bathroom with spacious shower - decision based on an online review - lovely.
