Exercise first this morning. Sraddhabha went for a swim at Ullapool Leisure Centre and Andy went for a run - 12k over Ullapool Hill and up to Loch Achall and back down the estate road. We packed up and did a walk in Lael Forest Park. 200 species of trees and some great mushrooms. We drove to Gruinard - Andy's mums favourite beach, thinking we might swim. I guess we knew the tide would be out but we weren't aware of how far it went! Too far to walk to the water, so we gave up that plan, had lunch, and drove to Inverness the long way via Gairloch. Apartment in Inverness is great, very clean and well prepped, so we're settled in for a wet weekend.
