Day 38 - Thursday 15th October - Talisker Beach and Neist Point

We headed out earlyish, and aimed for Talisker Beach, near Carbost. The road down was a very bumpy single track and then a rather uninspiring walk in deep shade on the south side of the valley (glen?). The beach itself was spectacular, with high cliffs either side. There was a stack isolated off the coast on one side, and a high thin waterfall coming down the cliffs on the north side of the beach.

We headed back to the MH, and drove on around Loch Harport, and to Neist Point, much photographed lighthouse on the most westerly point of Skye. We photographed it a lot. Decided it was too late for our next plan, a visit to a beach known as the Coral Beach. Over to Portree to Torvaig campsite.
