Scotland - Day 11 - Saturday 19th

We decided to stay an extra night at West Kilbride because the weather was so great.

We drove back over the causeway to Eriskay and had a beer in the Am Politician, where S photographed the original bottle of whisky from the wreck. There was a very noisy party at the next table in the pub garden, going through rounds! Useful to get some wifi though as phone reception has been non-existent so far.

We walked around Eriskay, another beautiful beach, and a climb up the hill by road with great views over Eriskay and South Uist.

Back at West Kilbride in South Uist we swam and Andy SUP'ed, but we decided that with a strengthening  offshore wind it wasn't sensible to go out in the kayak.

We climbed the hill to watch the sunset - there were views back towards Barra as sea fog crept over the island and across the sea towards Eriskay and us.
