Scotland - Day 14 - Tuesday 22nd - South Harris

The bad weather continued (worsened) in the morning so we considered postponing the booked ferry over to Harris, however there was no space on the ferry on Wednesday so in the end we braved it. It turned out to be not a problem, as the wind was from the SW and the crossing was pretty sheltered from storm swell. Andy wouldn't like to navigate the Sound of Harris though - too many rocks!

We drove about 9 miles NW to Horgabost, a basic camp site only open for motorhomes with facilities on board. The weather eased a bit!

Gorgeous views and grassy knolls where were parked. We walked up and down the beach several times for a bit of exercise.

When we parked up we noticed a folding table and bucket left in the space next to us, which we assumed was someone marking the spot intending to re-park there later. In the night another MH arrived and I heard the crunch as it drove over the items, followed by some discussion between the couple in it.
