As San Sebastian in Spain was only two hours by toll roads from the campsite , we decided to add it to our itinerary . We booked in a campsite near a rail way station so that we could visit San Sebastian ( never been) and Bilbao.
I'm feeling much better and am looking forward to a big city visit
We plan to head back into France after a few days of sightseeing
We left at 11 am
I managed to squeeze in a visit to the early morning Wednesday local produce market, a swim in the small pool and shower. Definitely feeling more energetic

Drove to Zumaia,108 miles , a town just 40 mins by train ride from San Sebastian
Camp Zumaia is very new , only 9 years old , at the top of a beautiful wooded valley , steep ascent to get in, but fine for the MH. All facilities clean and new.
Walked into town to check out the surfing beach on the far side of town ( very busy with young surfers) and the sheltered swimming beach near Santiago river . Calm , enjoyed the swim
