We moved on to St Junien after breakfast, 2 hours South East of St Cyr, to a Camping de Mon Village site, a former Municipal camp site, €13.40 per night with showers and toilets (very clean) and attractive lawns, hedged shady pitches with EHU next to a wood and only 10 mins walk from the centre of St Junien.
On the way we stopped for lunch at a village called Bonne , it was 🙂. The river is the Vienne
In the evening we walked along the shaded river bank in the steps of Corot, a local painter who devoted himself to painting the river in his lifetime. Walk by the cool green beautiful river Glane.
We wandered around the church and the old quarter in St Junien
