Friday 15 October Lagos - Ponta da Piedade - Tavira



We shopped at Intermarche, walked around the fabulous rock formations on the Ponta da Piadade headland just outside Lagos.  







2 hour drive from Lagos to Tavira on the beautiful Ria Formosa and  booked into the  Campismo Ria Formosa €15 per night with EHU, spotlessly clean, beautiful swimming pool, blissfully quiet  and free of night time barking dogs and an early hours cockerel chorus. Lots of long stay Dutch vans here. Delicious meal, very good value in campsite restaurant.

    Thanks Roger,Sraddhabha here , I've corrected the title to show that the amazing rock formations were not in Tavira but just outside Lagos en route to Tavira, at a clifftop walk called Ponta da Piadadec.Tavira has its own delights. Hope you and Anne are enjoying the Pyrenees
