Set off for a day at Selinunte a vast Greek archaeological site , it was hot and a long distance between the various sites .It was in a beautiful situation.The heat and walking led to tiredness and irritability as the land rover train which transported people between sites was initially full from the outset . We wearily decided not to to try and negotiate with the driver to buy a ticket back to reception up a long hill on the final journey , only to see it zoom past us empty !
We drove on to Camping Nettuno 62 miles on . We swam in the sea and met a charming couple from Munich with a delightful smiley 20 month old daughter called Eva . No English spoken by the reception man so French was used to get a card registered for a hot shower, but we couldn't get it to work😒 Recommend the site
