Quick swim in the very icy waters of the Saltstraumen in full wet suits beach campsite Low tide , current still strong . Heading back down the E6 ( a few miles short of Bodo- where you can catch the ferry to the Lofoten islands- this years most popular destination apparently for motorhomes) having completed the coastal way

Crossed Salttfejellet - Svartisen national park, with much snow , passed the Arctic circle museum- no time to stop off😔 Longest white water river tumbling tossing turning I've ever seen . Sami lands ?. Stopped off at Hurtigrute glass to get an emergency repair caused by a large chip in our windscreen . Provided for free . The friendly technician was looking forward to spending time with his 6 year old son this weekend
Stayed at the Haugen campsite overnight arriving at 4.30 pm . Noisy t from E16 went quiet in the night, foxes crying woke me at 3.30 am We went for a brief walk the other side of the road from the campsite in the morning 200 nok per night Hot clean showers 10 nok 5 minutes . Good MH facilities . No access to the river below .
