We ended the day at Femund - the lake for tranquility
A beautiful peaceful stay at Femund, the second largest natural lake in Norway, last visited 30 plus years ago

Beautiful views from our van. Very few campers - deluxe showers included for £32
Femund campsite beach. We went in the water in full wet suits. It was so cold we only lasted a few minutes submerged. Postscript - when we got to Valer, Helen reminded us it had only just thawed.
Before we got to Femundet we toured Roros, a old town which had thrived around copper mining and smelting for about 400 years.
