Andy eating his cinamon bun from Lom. We stopped by the lake outside of Lom .Andy got the coffee from a guy in a small shack with a pink coxcomb hair style who had arrived last week for the summer season. He and his partner ran the nearby campsite , reception, milking goats keeping the wood fired hot tub and sauna going. Working very long days was like a meditation he said. He is originally from South Wales Newport but has lived in Gran Canaria for the last 20 years where there is a large Scandinavian community
Amazing bridgeAnd Stave church
£8 to view the church inside
Over the pass on the road to Alesund .3000 feet
Drifts by the road side
Frozen lakes
Stupas
Mountain ranges
We caught the last ferry across Geiranger to Alesund .75 mins and nearly £100 ! . It was very crowded with push and shove tourists. This was the winding route out of Geiranger if we had chosen to take the road
Always good to hang around by the rib boat. The walk on passengers had occupied all the seats by the time we parked the van and walked up the stairs so this was the only space left to stand
Waterfalls galore
Andy found the pushing and shoving a bit disconcerting.
Their body language was interesting 🤔
Only accessible by boat
International group of people on board , I liked their headscarves
Huge tourist ship moored up as we enter Alesund
Waterfall as the passengers streamed off
Traditional house
Drove for about an hour and boarded the ferry to Lagenveg island where Mari lives
Scenery continues to be spectacular
