Ireland Thursday 6th April 2023 The Cliffs of Moher Co Clare


We drove for 90 minutes on the sunniest of days with clear blue skies to visit 'Ireland's  number one visitor experience'
















We drove to Doolin  early evening, a small sea side town half hours drive north of the Cliffs and parked up at the Riverside campsite (28€) in this smart  town 

We greeted a donkey en route to a pub, 900 m walk  (Mcgans ) serving traditional food ( bacon and cabbage, lamb shanks -a blast from my childhood)   and talented traditional live musicians (guitar, concertina and voice)

    Doolin is an excellent choice for a stopover in our opinion. Look out for the tower on the coast just outside of town where some survivers of the Spanish Armada were put to death!
