Stayed overnight at the municipal camp site in F da Foz. We had another look at the town in Figueira, where we parked in the MH parking area by the tiver mouth and went for a bike ride. This came to a sudden end when it started to rain heavily and we had to dash for the MH. Drove north to stay overnight at Costa Nova, on the coast of the Aveiro lagoon, between the sea and a lagoon, parked up at an accepted area for MH overnighters .Very attractive striped houses along one side of the the lagoon ( ex fishermen's huts , decorated to attract tourists ) , brightly painted village houses , huge sand dunes , crashing waves ( no where to swim though ) a 5 k walk to the lighthouse along the beach on a brand new board walk , and an attractive marina situated on one end of a cycle path by
