Andy woke up covered in mosquito bites. Anti histamines helped a little. The nearby coastal path proved too arduous for me to navigate, too rocky rooty and eroded, so Andy set off on his own. The compact campsite parking spaces , meant we were living on top of one another , a large family with little children ran wild with excitement nearby last night ( they eventually calmed down ) and being parked near a high wall enclosure and in a dip felt claustrophobic The nearest swim spot 10 mins walk through a wood, was shallow, full of rocks , hard pebbles on beach and lots of seaweed - not pleasant to swim in. Andy gave it a go. On -road cycling and sharp bends with only intermittent cycle paths put me off christening the bike this trip ( admittedly, it doesn't take much) In summary A tatty 'Eco' over hyped , very noisy grim camp site . Early night, hiding inside from mosquitoes . Watched most of series 1 of Sex Education on Netflix ( good wi fi 🙂) 7 minute timer on showers with wrist band 🤔. A miserable campsite / surroundings experience for me. Felt restricted in what I could do -like a prison might. Andy took photos of his peninsula walk . He said it was tough but had attractive views.
