A much happier day. We swiftly moved on to Aaberea ,in Jutland. We found a lovely beach and swimming area off the jetty. With the kindly encouragement of a Danish woman who had just emerged from a dip in the sea, we donned our shortie wet suits and climbed down the ladder into the bracing Baltic. We just managed a bracing 20 mins at 16 degrees. It was a chill wind blowing . It took me a while to warm up again afterwards

Moving on to visit our friend Eva, we drove to Hortens , 2 hours North , (just outside Aarhus Denmark's second biggest city )
Eva's summer house and garden/ allotment was a delight to behold.

Really enjoying following your travels. Most locations new to me. Today we had a few drops of rain. First in over 1 month.
