Thursday 16th May Nantes day 2

Trip to the museum of fine arts, highly recommended, recently modernised. Kandinsky always cheers me  up immensely

Greek mezze for lunch.

On to the natural history museum, çalling in to walk through  a famous palisade (Passage Pommeraye)  used in lots of French  films

Navigating the tram system like the seasoned pro he is on day 2, Andy and I reached the banana warehouse by the confluence of  the 2  rivers  and the renovated dock area where we had a drink at the dockyard bar and jiggled our feet to the  funky dance music.

Our favourite Irish pub ( opp the cathedral closed for repairs)
I wanted to buy this table !
Kandinsky

These made us dizzy when we walked past them

Bernard Frize , I loved this - called Pacific
Gorgeous building

Passage Pommeraye

Old wooden steps
Wiggly lamp posts
Murals on the pavement outside the natural history museum

Andy took these pictures  in the National History museum for Amila
Dockyard bar

Lots of rings which light up at night , very ravey place
